Antioxidant Activities of Scrub Body Lotion Extract of Surian Leaves (Toona sinensis) with Powder Scrub Date Seeds (Phoenix dactylifera)

Free radicals from exposure to ultraviolet radiation (UVB) cause dull, rough, dry, cracked skin andpremature aging so that they can damage tissue and result in fatal cancer. To prevent this,antioxidants are needed. Plants have potential as antioxidants Surian leaves date seedswhich contain lots of flavonoids phenolics. make it easier use, is processed into a scrubbody lotion using seed powder scrub (Phoenix dactylifera). This study aimed find formula has the best physical properties stable during storage bestformula strongest antioxidant activity. Each contains ethanol extract leaves(Toona sinensis) with concentration 0.1%; 0.3%; 0.5%; 0.7%; 0.9%. After that, an evaluationof body preparation was carried out. From results theevaluation preparations, andhedonic tests safe for irritation tests, 5 surian aconcentration 0.9% activity IC50 28,554 ppm very strong category.
